Volunteer at a Recruitment Event

15-Campus-0728-SW-14_1250x833Nothing motivates and inspires future college students like the story of someone who’s been there. Alumni willing to share stories of the great experiences they had at NIU can help recruit the next generation of Huskies.

NIU admissions representatives attend college fairs and recruitment events all over the country, telling students about the opportunities NIU offers. Every year we have to decline invitations to appear at some events due to scheduling conflicts. Alumni who are willing to volunteer a few hours to attend recruitment events in their communities can ensure prospective students know all of the great reasons they should consider NIU for their education.

Volunteers do not need to be NIU experts or have all the answers. They will receive a handbook and materials to distribute to students and are encouraged to refer questions to the admissions office.
