Students and guests of NIU Travel With the Professor Series will attend a once-in-a-lifetime evening with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago at 7 p.m. Sept. 11. (At press time, this event has already sold out.)
At the event, Justice Ginsburg will speak with Judge Ann Claire Williams of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Ginsburg, who has served on the nation’s highest court since 1993, will discuss her life and career. She was named one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” in 2015 and is the best-selling author of “My Own Words” (2016).
The NIU Travel with the Professor Series provides an opportunity for an introduction to the event and the chance to ask questions of an expert after the performance.
