2017 Huskie Athletic Fund Donor Guide

Northern Illinois University football season ticket members can select lower-priced season ticket options, take advantage of the views from a new End Zone Club and “UN1TE” to support 400 Huskie student-athletes in 17 sports programs with the new campaign that kicked off Monday.

Renewal packets, which include the Huskie Athletic Fund Donor Guide and season ticket and Huskie Athletic Fund renewal forms, are on their way to all 2016 season ticket members and donors. For questions, contact NIU at 815-753-PACK (7225), huskiestickets@niu.edu or huskieathleticfund@niu.edu, or stop by the NIU Athletics offices in the Convocation Center to speak with the Ticket Office or Huskie Athletic Fund staff.

“We are so thankful to our loyal season ticket members and Huskie Athletic Fund donors,” said NIU Associate Vice-President and Director of Athletics Sean T. Frazier. “By buying season tickets or becoming a donor, you are supporting the future of NIU Athletics and helping sustain our long tradition of competitive and academic excellence. More than ever, it’s important for our fans, alumni and all of Huskie Nation to ‘UN1TE’ so that we can continue to positively impact the lives of every NIU student-athlete.”

The season ticket renewal deadline for all 2016 members to secure their same seats and parking locations for the 2017 football season is Saturday, April 22, when the NIU football team completes spring practice with the annual Huskie Bowl. The intrasquad workout will take place at 2 p.m. at Huskie Stadium and be followed by an exclusive season ticket member and donor event, which is open to all who have renewed for 2017.

Invitations to exclusive events, sitting in the same seat for every game, receiving a season ticket member gift and paying the lowest price for tickets are just a few reasons to become a season ticket member.

With six home games at Huskie Stadium, beginning with a visit from Boston College on Sept. 1 and including homecoming on Oct. 7 and MACtion games versus Ball State University and Western Michigan University, NIU’s ticket prices remain one of the best values in Chicagoland.

Season tickets in sections C, D and E of Huskie Stadium (within the 30-yard lines) are just $132, not including the donation requirement for benchback and chairback seating. This year, all single-season tickets in sections A, B, F and G are available for just $115 each. NIU faculty and staff, NIU Alumni Association and Varsity Club members, and senior citizens can get ANY season ticket on the west side (not including premium seats) for $115.

For an even better value, purchase four tickets and take advantage of an expandable Huskie Family Pack. The new $199 Huskie Family Pack provides four tickets in sections A or G, and additional seats are available for just $49.75 each. Or get four season tickets in sections B or F for $299 with the option to add additional seats for $74.75 each.

General admission season tickets for the east side of Huskie Stadium are priced at just $60 – or $10 per game – in 2017, less than half of last year’s $122 price. Or for the price of a west side reserved ticket ($115), get an east side season ticket for $60 AND a season-long pass to the new End Zone Club for an additional $55 donation. Located in the south end zone, the End Zone Club now includes popcorn and assorted snacks, a cash bar and limited general admission seating with a unique field-level view.

All Coaches Club passes, priced at $700 each with access to a climate-controlled area featuring private restrooms, a food buffet, a cash bar and flat-screen TVs, now include End Zone Club access, allowing fans to visit or stay in both areas, or in their west side seats.

See the Donor Details on all the benefits of becoming a Huskie Athletic Fund donor, including access to donor parking and the Huskie Athletic Fund tent for all home football games, away games and bowl game ticket priority, invitations to special events, gifts and more, are available in the Donor Guide (see link above).

Excitement for the 2017 NIU Football season is building as the coaching staff, including newly-named running backs coach and Huskie great Jordan Lynch, comes together with the returning starters like all-conference offensive tackle Max Scharping and cornerback Shawun Lurry. Spring practices open March 21 and culminate with the Huskie Bowl on April 22.
